Round 8: Silverstone GP:
Marcus Saari, who finished 8th said: "Well disconnected before the race so had to start from the pits. So race was kind of ruined before it had even started.

I managed to get past people relatively easy because they gave a lot room and didn't want to fight too much. I finally got stuck behind Maximilian and Wolfgang. I didn't manage to get past Max there even tough I was close. We went side by side for few turns. We both pitted on the same lap and he kept his position. I tried to pressurise him but with no results with fresh tyres. Then Scot U'Ren came from pits right between us (I had just got T1 way wrong) so I knew I had to attack immediately when he had coldish tyres and had to get used to the new lines. Well I did manage to get outside on T8, outbraked him but maybe turned slighty too early and we clipped. Luckily we still managed to get going.

I was back hunting Max. I was fast on the first part of the circuit so I was always quite close coming to Stowe. I got very close once but was too eager to press the throttle and barely held my car on the track. Few laps later I was close again and decided to try my luck with a bit divebombish move because I knew I could brake later for the corner. Well it didn't work out exactly as I had hoped for and we touched. I'm sry about that.

Rest of the race was driving alone with a bit damaged car and worn tires for all the fighting. Scott and Wolfgang were gaining on me at the end but the laps ran out too early for them to get on attacking distance.

Better luck tomorrow I guess. This race ruined my top 5 streak sad.gif Grats for Matthias for the maiden win and Klaus and Hugo for podium slots."

David Williams, who finished 12th said: "Terrible race for me. Was going well until I sped in the pits and it all went hopelessly downhill from there. Sorry to the drivers I tangled with while struggling with tyres, Vincent and Vail."
