Márcio Campos: Champion!

The well known sim racing driver in Brazil and now a promising real racing driver, Márcio took the title in "Campeonato Gaúcho de Marcas e Pilotos 2010" in the Novatos class.

This was Márcio's first official season in the brazilian motorsports scene. After 7 rounds of two races each, the fight for the championship was really tough. Márcio had to finish at least 3rd and 2nd to secure his title, but this wasn't that easy at all. His cousin, Cleiton Campos, almost took him off track three times, but Márcio managed to preserve the car. After finishing 3rd in the first race and 2nd in the last one Márcio had just enough points to be crowned champion, with only a margin of two points!

Márcio is now planning on racing Trofeo Linea or Copa Montana next year. We would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Márcio for his great achievement, and all the luck for the rest of his promising career in the brazilian motorsports.
