The latest additions to an ever-strengthening lineup for My3id Gaming arise in the form of two highly talented German drivers, André Böttcher and Martin Krönke. Both already have well established careers in the sim racing world, and look set to go from strength to strength in the years to come.
André has recently started studying Media Informatics in Gelsenkirchen. The 19 year old grew up with a passion for motorsport through the motorcycle racing of his father and grandfather, but like many, finances prohibited him from ever getting seriously involved in the sport. In 2006 André discovered sim racing and became hooked, racing on simulations such as GTR2, rFactor and iRacing, where he quickly built a reputation among the community as an extremely fast and fair driver, and has recently been crowned champion of Season 3's iRacing Grand Prix Series.
20 year old Martin is also a student, enrolling with the University of Stuttgart this year, studying Electronic Engineering. He started his sim racing career in the 90's with Geoff Crammonds GP2 and the IndyCar and Nascar sims from Papyrus, later venturing into online racing with GTR, rFactor, LFS, netKar Pro and finally iRacing. Along the way Martin has had great success, his greatest achievement to date with Ferrari Virtual Academy, where he was a finalist at Fiorano and had the chance to drive a real single seater. Besides racing, Martin is interested in electronics, overclocking and photography.
Martin and André join My3id Gaming's strong lineup for this years iRacing Pro Series, where they both hope to qualify for and join our other members in next years NVIDIA Grand Prix Series. Please give them a warm welcome!
