IGTC Round 5

Combo: Westhill international / GTR's, 4 hour race
Attending Members : Harry Makriyiannis ([GR]Evolution), Alasdair MacCrone (Banister)

Round 5 of the International Grand Touring Championship was held at the beautiful Westhill circuit on a clear morning.

My3id Gaming started the event well, with Harry managing a 3rd place in the qualifying session, and pointing the team in the right direction for the remainder of the race.  Harry would also start the first stint, which, although some minor contact was made in lap 2 later resulting in a stop-go penatly, went very smoothly, with Harry having the lead by the end of the first hour.  Alasdair would take over now, and a very nervous looking, mistake filled stint left Harry with alot of work to do for the remaining 2 hours.  Harry came out again with blistering pace, and gained several places in a very clean and tidy 2 hour stint to leave My3id Gaming on the podium, in a respectable 2nd position. It was a truely great performance from Harry Makriyiannis, showing his real pontential and skill.  Congratulations to spdo, who took a very convincing, and well earned win, and of course CoRe, who rounded off the podium in a well deserved 3rd position.

The next round of the International Grand Touring Championship takes place at the Kyoto Circuit on the 26th of July.
