Combo: South City Chicane Route / LX6, 21 lap race
Attending members: Harry Makriyiannis ([GR]Evolution)

This round of the LX Only Cup returned once again to the tough street roads of South City, promising a very interesting fight for top places at those narrow points of the chicane configuration of the track.

Only one member of my3id joined the event. Makriyiannis managed to secure pole position in front of troy and Leprekaun with a very fast and clean qualification lap.

Despite the fact that Makriyiannis was 3 tenths quicker than 2nd placed troy in qualifying session, the latter managed to achive an incredible race pace, pushing Makriyiannis more and more each lap in order to take 1st place. On lap four an error of Makriyiannis allowed troy to take the lead for the first time, but Makriyiannis got into his slipstream and overtook near the first split shortly after. He then gained some distance when the FM driver hit a wall slightly on the following lap. Troy however was pushing hard to reduce his deficit and put plenty of pressure on Makriyiannis to regain the lead. After some drafting on lap 11 he finally managed to overtake on the outside of the first bend, and thus had his rear-view mirror occupied for the next few minutes, which cleared when Makriyiannis unfortunately spun in the chicane and found himself behind Leprekaun. On the 19th lap, troy also made the same mistake on the very spot. Furthermore and luckily for Makriyiannis, the battle between troy and Leprekaun, who managed to catch up with him, affected their lap times as well, so he saw and used the opportunity to attack in the last two minutes, resulting in another 2nd place finish behind troy.
