My3id Gaming driver Hugo Luis took pole position with a 1:20.83, just ahead of Johannes Scheuerle (#low Racing). David Williams started 11th and did not have a lucky race.
Green flag! In the first race, Hugo Luis maintained the lead of the race for 11 laps. While Luis was leading, Williams had many fights through the field, first with Paul Chapman (Mercury Racing #2) and Mateusz Daszkiewicz (Conquest Racing) and then with Dávid Jagodits (!NFiNiTy Skills) and Heikki Vuorinen (n1Racing). Luis had very hot tyres due to using the R3 compound. Scheuerle was using the R4 compound, thus was able to push his car to the limit and overtook Luis with 4 laps to the end of Race 1.
Luis finished the race in second position, behind Scheuerle who won the race. Raymond Mooney (Mercury Racing #1) finished in third position, completing the podium. Williams, after a recovery race, finished in ninth position.
In accordance to the rules, the Main Race started with the top 8 reversed, this meant Williams would start in 2nd position and Luis in 7th position.
Luis and Scheuerle had a big fight again, lasting throughout the race. Up to lap 6, Williams and Scheuerle had a fight for 4th position. After the 6th lap, a big fight had begun between Williams, Scheuerle, Jonathon Pickard (Mercury Racing #2), Luis and Jarno Lehikoinen (n1Racing), all fighting for 3rd position. Pickard touched the wall and slid, Luis could not do anything to avoid contact and spun Pickard, sending him to 9th position.
The other four drivers were still fighting for the 3rd position. Scheuerle touched the wall of the first corner letting Luis pass him. Luis began defensively driving as a rear gunner for Williams. Scheuerle overtook Luis again, and passed Williams after putting him under a lot of pressure. Williams had a small mistake and Luis passed also.
On the 17th lap Scheuerle and Luis passed Vuorinen and had a big battle for 2nd position until the end of the race. Phil Rose (#low) won the race, ahead of team mate Scheuerle and Luis finished in 3rd for My3id Gaming completing the podium. Williams again had an unlucky race and was unable to finish.
In the Main Driver Standings, Scheuerle leads the championship with 220 points, 49 points ahead of the My3id Gaming driver Williams. Mooney is in 3rd position, and the My3id Gaming driver, Luis is 26 points behind him with 102.
My3id Gaming is now in 2nd position in the Team Standings, with 281 points, 61 points behind the leaders, #low-racing.
