We missed out on winter and spring report, so we're going to take in count the whole 2009 year.
2009 started with famous MoE 24 hours of Aston GP. We took our first ever podium finish in Masters of Endurance with 3rd place finish. We repeated that on Blackwood and we were on the way to our first victory in last race of season when internet problems had stopped us. Despite lousy 2008 performance we took 5th place overall.
Few weeks after that Dave gaining RSWC2 title. Hugo took 3rd overall and Niall 4th. We also took title in teams championship.
First full season of LFS Pro Series started in February. Dave and Hugo took place there. They finished with 2nd and 4th overall in drivers standings and 2nd in team standings. They scored 2 poles out of 7 races and took 3 victories and 9 other podiums finishes. Race format was with reversed grid for 2nd race fashion.
IGTC season started well with with 2nd and 3rd place finishes in first two races, but then a big dark cloud came over us and we had two forgettable races full of hardware issues. Damn that Logitech G25. First one, we didn't even finish and 2nd one only 9th, but at least some points were taken. After everything was taken care of, we came back stronger then ever scored two straight wins, keeping title chances alive for last round of season which will follow in September.
spdo run GP2 series since April to July and our drivers took place whenever they could in 6 rounds season. Hugo missed first 3 rounds, but still finished 3rd overall with 4 victories and two 2nd place finishes. Jack, Dave, Karolis and Martijn all took place whenever they could and all have contributed to 1st place finish in team standings.
Our guys took place in OLFSL too. In first 5 races we took 4 victories and and twice Hugo, Niki and Karolis took all round podium finish. This, of course, resulted in massive lead both in driver and team championships. OLFSL is having a mid season brake now, still 7 rounds to come till end of the year.
Karolis raced in Murrey Motorsports Cup. With huge amount of bad luck he didn't score a point in first two rounds. Still, he didn't give up and in last four rounds took 3 pole positions 5 wins and 2 second places. He reached 2nd place overall in the end despite first two rounds.
Hugo, Niki and Karolis have also raced in national championships. Hugo took 3 titles this year in Brazilian leagues. They have weird format with short championships and lot of reversed races, however Hugo has 60% winning score. Niki won CRO Team Racing League with 5 wins out of 6 races. Karolis won 2 out of 5 races with missing the first and fourth race of the season. He finished 3rd overall.
Our drivers do take part in hotlap ranks too. None of us is pushing really hard to be the best in that. Race results are much more important for us. Still we're currently holding 118 WR's with Karolis being the 3rd best on drivers WR holders chart.
So, our hopes are high for upcoming Masters of Endurance season and of course all other leagues which we will take part in. See ya on track guys.
