OLFSL - Race 4 - Highlights

I got new setup for race, nicer for chicane, but something had to bug me as always, hehe.
Again, we had shizzy weather with high wind. Wind was ok for most of the lap, but for the most important corner, last corner, it was catastrofy for my setup. It understeered me so badly into corner and I just couldn't carry enough speed into there and if I'd try to push out of corner there would be just a terrible oversteer then.

So, the race started well. I wasn't as nervose as usual. I kinda knew that I don't really have chance for some incredible result. My goal was 3-4th. Right of the start grid I attacked Dominic. He didn't seam to defend, so I tried to pass, but then he kinda closed the door on me on second apex. I just had to lift and wait for next chance.
Coming back to finish line, he makes big mistake and I got my chance, he doesn't defend and it's a clean pass.
I see this gap already to my teammates, but I decide to stay 100% focused and catch them asap. Luisii helped me with that a little bit. He was kinda blocking them both, so I cought them in just 1 lap. Carrying much more speed then them I decide to attack on the inside right away for T5, but I see Hugo is taking the inside there, so I'm going for the outside. I'm noticing Hugo is taking very slow apex and I push to complete the pass. I'm making small mistake in last corner and Hugo is attacking right away, but doesn't make the pass.
Next lap, Luisii crashes in chicane. This doesn't suit me, because Karolis will have open road now and I got Hugo right on my tail. I'm deciding to block Hugo for as long as I can, hoping that something will stop his attacks. I'm driving little bit slower now, safer, to ensure no mistakes. And miracle was setting to happen in lap 8. Cupraman attacked Hugo, but didn't make the pass. Even only that gave me room to bread and drive faster, but still safe, he wasn't that far away. And then, something like 10 laps later Hugo is ready to attack again. Lap 19, Hugo attack, we're making small contact down on the end of the straight. This trows me off from my zone a little bit and I'm driving few next corners a bit shaky and worried. I thought for just a sec that Hugo might have crashed due lag or something, but he didn't and he used this to take few good lines on me. Only later I realized why I had this oversteer out of the last corner. Contact caused a small toe damage on rear right wheel. I had no chance to defend this.

Hugo making the pass made me kinda sad, so I had few bad laps, but still I wouldn't have chance to fight back. I tried to keep the gap or close it then, but he was pulling away, slightly. So I gave up and drove safe to finish with some slow pace :)
Still, I made two places, I can say it was a good race.
