I just couldn't do any better then 3rd on... I just couldn't do any better then 3rd on qualifyings, even i had put a lot of effort into it.

So I had my car on inside on the grid, but Hugo tucked in just in front of me. Maybe I could've try to take inside and maybe outbrake Hugo, but I found it to dangerous to put such a move on my teammate, so I tried to take outside and maybe get better exit than Hugo and attack for next corner, but Hugo had great exit too and there was nothing I could do.
I had slightly off pace laps 4 and 5 and that made 3 sec gap to Karolis and Hugo.

You can see few shots of me pushing really hard and making some mistakes while trying to close that gap back which almost gave Cupraman chance to pass me, but I always had some safe gap before I pushed really hard into those mistakes. After Hugo had passed Karolis I drove calmer laps and closed the gap to Karolis, because he had small engine damage.

I planed to take my pitstop at end of lap 20 and to have one clear lap of Karolis because I cought him and he was in my way and he for sure wouldn't give his place easy. But he also decided to take pit stop in lap 20 and in last second I decided to stay out and have one clear lap. That worked out well and I was back in front of Karolis, drove a safe lap and took 2nd position.

I have to say even weather was windy and overcast in UK where this race virtually was, it wasn't like that at my home. It was really hot and humity was really high. All that made it very, very hard to concentrate 100%, but this time I did my best, unlike last two rounds, in gaven conditions and I'm happy for that and for my best result in OLFSL so far.
